DESCRIPTION:Calling all women in the Democratic Party who’d like to get involved! Please join us for our Jefferson County Democratic Committee Women’s Group meeting on Thursday\, Sept 17\, at 5 pm\, at the Kennett home\, at 21137 Storrs Road\, in Sackets Harbor. \nThe Women’s Group normally meets just prior to the full JCDC meeting; however\, as part of our efforts to reach more voters throughout the county\, we’ve been relocating to new towns\, villages\, and cities in the county. This month\, the full JCDC meeting is being held on Thursday\, Sept 24\, at 6 pm\, at the IBEW Union Hall in Watertown. \nAs always\, all registered Democratic women are welcome — and encouraged — to attend the Women’s Group meeting. We hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:  \nIf you can only make it to one JCDC meeting this year\, please make this one be the one\, dear Democrats! Join us for our September 2026 committee meeting on Thursday\, Sept 24th\, at the IBEW Union Hall in Watertown\, when we will officially “reconstitute” or reorganize the JCDC. \nWhat does it mean to reconstitute? Every two years\, usually between the primary election and the general election\, Democratic Committees across New York State hold an official meeting to elect officers (chair\, vice chair\, secretary and treasurer) and to review\, adopt\, and/or amend their rules and bylaws. \nAttendance at this meeting is vital\, because we need a quorum of members\, so we ask that all committee members and leaders make an extra effort to be there. \nBecause we have a full agenda for this meeting\, the Women’s Group meeting has been rescheduled to the week prior. \nThe Jefferson County Democratic Committee normally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month\, at the IBEW Union Hall in Watertown. As always\, all registered Democrats are welcome — and encouraged — to attend our monthly meetings.
