Sept 2026 JCDC Meeting

If you can only make it to one JCDC meeting this year, please make this one be the one, dear Democrats! Join us for our September 2026 committee meeting on Thursday, Sept 24th, at the IBEW Union Hall in Watertown, when we will officially “reconstitute” or reorganize the JCDC.

What does it mean to reconstitute? Every two years, usually between the primary election and the general election, Democratic Committees across New York State hold an official meeting to elect officers (chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer) and to review, adopt, and/or amend their rules and bylaws.

Attendance at this meeting is vital, because we need a quorum of members, so we ask that all committee members and leaders make an extra effort to be there.

Because we have a full agenda for this meeting, the Women’s Group meeting has been rescheduled to the week prior.

The Jefferson County Democratic Committee normally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month, at the IBEW Union Hall in Watertown. As always, all registered Democrats are welcome — and encouraged — to attend our monthly meetings.
